First Step – Account Registration
- To apply online for a Police Clearance Certificate firstly access the Police Clearance website from your smartphone or computer.

- So after receiving the message, type it and send it to 26969 to create an account.
Step 2 – Account Login
- Once the account registration is done, log in to the account.
- For login, press the ‘Login’ button here.
- After that, the candidate has to provide the mobile number and password to log in.
- Then press the sign-in button.
- By pressing the sign-in button, a dashboard will appear in front of the candidate from where the candidate can apply.
Step 3 – Fill Up the Application Form
- Once the account is logged in, the dashboard will appear.
- Click on the ‘Apply’ button from the top menu.
- Here an option called ‘Purpose of Police Clearance’ will appear.
- From here select ‘Go Abroad’ if you want to go abroad with it.
- And if there is any other purpose then others should be selected.
However, if you select Others, you have to contact your own DC office. So if you apply for police clearance to go abroad then you have to select the country you want to go to by clicking on the Go Aboard button.
Once the purpose is selected, some forms will appear here to provide information. Here first the personal information form has to be filled out.
Step 4 – Providing Personal information
- In the personal information section, enter your ‘Passport Number’ in place of your passport number.
- Then write the ‘Country’ from which the passport is issued. If the passport is from Bangladesh, then select Bangladesh.
- Then you have to enter the ‘Issue date’, the date on which your passport was issued.
- Then in the ‘Issue Place’ option, you have to mention the name of the place from where your passport was issued.
- The ‘Expiry Date’ of the passport should be entered.
- Then provide the ‘Mobile Number’
- After that, the email and NID should be filled in.
- Then below is the full name option.
- The candidate’s full name should be mentioned here.
- Then there is the father’s/husband’s name. This should also be filled in here.
- Then fill in the ‘Relation’ option. The relation option should be entered as the father/husband’s name.
That is, if you write your father’s name, then you have to select Father in the relation option.
And if you provide the name of your husband, then you have to select the spouse here. Then write your mother’s name and your date of birth.
- After that, in the place of salutation, if you are a boy, you should select Mr. and if you are a girl, you should select Mrs.
- In the next option, the candidate has to upload a passport-size photograph of a maximum of 150 KB.
- So upload your image from your device by clicking on choose file option here.
- Then click on the ‘Save and Next’ button.
Step 6 – Providing Contact Information
- Once the personal information is filled in, the contact information option will appear.
- Here you will find three sections- Emergency Contact, Permanent Contact, and Present Address.
- These three sections should be filled very well with proper information.
- In place of Emergency Contact, you will give some information and a mobile number so that emergency contact can be made with you at any time.
On the other hand, in place of Permanent Contact, fill in all the information of your Permanent Contact and present the address information should be filled very well.
- Next are the ‘Delivery Type’ and ‘Delivery From’.
- From here you have to select from where you want to take delivery, SP office, or elsewhere, and click on the save and continue button.
Step 7 – Upload Documents
- In this step, some documents have to be uploaded.
- After giving the contact information and clicking on the save and continue button, an option to upload will appear.
- Here the scanned images of the candidate’s passport, National ID card or certificate, and the attestation letter from the council should be uploaded.
- After that, if other documents are in the other option, they should be uploaded.
- Once these documents are uploaded, press the ‘Save and Continue’ button.
Once these are done all the data will be shown in a preview form.
- From here, check all the information in the documents very carefully if there is any mistake somewhere.
- If there is any mistake anywhere then your application will be rejected.
